Renault’s F1 car overhaul for 2020 – RS20 technical analysis
Renault made us wait to get a proper look at its 2020 Formula 1 car, and when the RS20 finally rolled out of the garage for the start of testing at Barcelona it was sporting a big change to its front end. The team has joined the trend of designing a narrower nose – started by Mercedes – but it has pushed the concept to extreme lengths. The scale of the changes made for this year shows how serious Renault is taking its bid to make up for a disappointing 2019 season where it slipped back in the F1 pecking order.
